The Orlando, FL based pop-punk collective Capstan contacted me once again to create the artwork for their sophomore release ‘Seasonal Depression’. Not only were they looking for a design for the CD, but also needed a universal logo that could be used for them moving forward. The idea was to create and illustration of an actual capstan (a machine used on sailing ships) and incorporate the pelican design.
